In den vergangenen Jahren waren wir besonders in den Bereichen der Gesundheit, Sport und Bildung aktiv – so konnte die Krankenstation in dem Stadtteil Kiri komplett renoviert,

Dieses Jahr möchten wir uns einem besonderen Herzensprojekt widmen. Schon seit längerem haben wir zusammen mit dem Schwesterverein vor Ort in Bobo – Dioulasso die Idee und den Wunsch in eines der größten Reichtümer von Burkina Faso zu investieren: in die Kultur. In Zukunft würden wir uns wünschen, dass in Bobo – Dioulasso dein deutsch – burkinisches Kulturzentrum entsteht, in dem Künstler*innen aber auch Nachbar*innen und Reisende ein Zuhause finden. In dem Kulturzentrum soll Platz für Deutschkurse, Alphabetisierungskurse, Tanzkurse, Musikunterricht und Veranstaltungen sein. Denn trotz der immer noch sehr komplizierten politischen Lage des Landes ist klar, dass Frieden nur durch Bildung, eine starke Zivilgesellschaft und eine unterstützte kulturelle Identität der Bürger*innen funktionieren kann.
Im letzten Jahr sind wir mit unserem Partnerverein Association Woka-Kuma Deutschland e.V. diesem Projekt bereits einen kleinen Schritt näher gekommen – uns wurde von der Kommune Kiri in Bobo – Dioulasso ein Grundstück zur Verfügung gestellt, welches bereits feierlich eingeweiht wurde. Auch die deutsche Delegation konnte es 2023 besichtigen und den Grundstein legen sowie den ersten Baum für die Ewigkeit pflanzen.
Nun werden wir allerdings nicht direkt mit dem Bau des Zentrums beginnen können – sondern erstmal viel früher anfangen, nämlich bei der Wasserversorgung des Viertels.
Unsere Spendenaktionen 2024/25
Für die kommenden Monate haben wir zwei konkrete Projekte geplant, für die wir eure Mithilfe benötigen:
- Unterstützung des lokalen Fußballturniers „Belleville Cup“ Das Turnier findet seit 3 Jahren mit der Unterstützung des Woka – Kuma Deutschland e.V.s statt. Es bringt Kinder und Jugendliche aus der Region zusammen, fördert Gemeinschaft, Fairplay und schafft positive Begegnungsräume – ein Projekt, das mit wenig Mitteln Großes bewirken kann.
- Fertigstellung der Brunnenbohrung im Stadtteil Kiri
Der Zugang zu sauberem Wasser ist eine Grundvoraussetzung für Gesundheit und Entwicklung. Die Bohrung ist bereits nach der erfolgreichen Aktion aus dem letzten Jahr fortgeschritten, doch zur Fertigstellung und Zugang zu der Pumpe benötigen wir noch finanzielle Unterstützung.
Damit wir diese beiden wichtigen Vorhaben realisieren können, bitten wir euch herzlich um eure Spende. Kiri ist ein Viertel am Rande von Bobo-Dioulasso, eine Stadt, deren Bevölkerung immer weiter wächst. Wie so häufig in immer weiter wachsenden Großstädten gibt es bereits Menschen, die dort wohnen, aber die Infrastruktur kommt nicht gleichzeitig mit – in dem Stadtteil von Kiri wurde bis jetzt kein öffentliche Fließendwasserquelle installiert.

This year, we would like to devote ourselves to a project that is particularly close to our hearts. For some time now, together with our sister association in Bobo-Dioulasso, we have had the idea and desire to invest in one of Burkina Faso’s greatest treasures: its culture. In the future, we would like to see a German-Burkinabe cultural center established in Bobo-Dioulasso, where artists, neighbors, and travelers alike can find a home. The cultural center will offer space for German courses, literacy courses, dance classes, music lessons, and events. Despite the country’s still very complicated political situation, it is clear that peace can only be achieved through education, a strong civil society, and a supported cultural identity among citizens.
Last year, we took a small step closer to this project with our partner association, Association Woka-Kuma Deutschland e.V. The municipality of Kiri in Bobo-Dioulasso provided us with a plot of land, which has already been ceremoniously inaugurated. The German delegation was also able to visit it in 2023, lay the foundation stone, and plant the first tree for eternity.
However, we will not start construction immediately.
Our fundraising campaigns for 2024/25
We have two specific projects planned for the coming months, for which we need your help:
Support for the local football tournament ‘Belleville Cup’ The tournament has been held for three years with the support of Woka – Kuma Deutschland e.V. It brings children and young people from the region together, promotes community spirit and fair play, and creates positive meeting places – a project that can achieve great things with limited resources.
Completion of the well drilling in the Kiri district
Access to clean water is a basic requirement for health and development. The drilling has already progressed following last year’s successful campaign, but we still need financial support to complete the project and gain access to the pump.

Kiri is a neighbourhood on the outskirts of Bobo-Dioulasso, a city whose population is growing steadily. As is often the case in ever-expanding cities, there are already people living there, but the infrastructure is not keeping pace – no public water supply has been installed in the Kiri neighbourhood to date.

Cette année, nous souhaitons nous consacrer à un projet qui nous tient particulièrement à cœur. Depuis longtemps déjà, nous partageons avec notre association sœur locale à Bobo-Dioulasso l’idée et le souhait d’investir dans l’une des plus grandes richesses du Burkina Faso : la culture. À l’avenir, nous aimerions voir naître à Bobo-Dioulasso un centre culturel germano-burkinabé où les artistes, mais aussi les voisins et les voyageurs, pourraient se sentir chez eux. Ce centre culturel devrait accueillir des cours d’allemand, d’alphabétisation, de danse, de musique et des événements. Car malgré la situation politique toujours très compliquée du pays, il est clair que la paix ne peut fonctionner que grâce à l’éducation, à une société civile forte et à une identité culturelle soutenue par les citoyens.
L’année dernière, avec notre association partenaire Association Woka-Kuma Deutschland e.V., nous avons déjà fait un petit pas vers la réalisation de ce projet : la commune de Kiri à Bobo-Dioulasso nous a mis à disposition un terrain qui a déjà été inauguré lors d’une cérémonie. La délégation allemande a également pu le visiter en 2023, poser la première pierre et planter le premier arbre pour l’éternité.
Nos collectes de fonds 2024/25
Pour les mois à venir, nous avons prévu deux projets concrets pour lesquels nous avons besoin de votre aide :
Soutien au tournoi de football local « Belleville Cup » Le tournoi existe depuis 3 ans grâce au soutien de l’association Woka – Kuma Deutschland e.V. Il rassemble les enfants et les jeunes de la région, favorise la cohésion sociale et le fair-play et crée des espaces de rencontre positifs – un projet qui peut avoir un impact considérable avec peu de moyens.
Achèvement du forage d’un puits dans le quartier de Kiri
L’accès à l’eau potable est une condition préalable fondamentale à la santé et au développement. Le forage a déjà bien avancé depuis la campagne réussie de l’année dernière, mais nous avons encore besoin d’un soutien financier pour l’achever et accéder à la pompe.
Afin de pouvoir réaliser ces deux projets importants, nous vous demandons chaleureusement de faire un don. Kiri est un quartier situé à la périphérie de Bobo-Dioulasso, une ville dont la population ne cesse de croître. Comme c’est souvent le cas dans les grandes villes en pleine expansion, il y a déjà des gens qui y vivent, mais les infrastructures ne suivent pas : dans le quartier de Kiri, aucune source d’eau courante publique n’a encore été installée.
