2025

Spendenaktion 2025 – während der Delegationsreise im Februar konnten wir einige Besuche ( siehe FESTICO Seite) und Spenden/ Aktionen übergeben und durchführen.

Belleville Cup: nach einer finanziellen Abwägung war es dieses Jahr dennoch möglich, das jährlich Fußballturnier in Belleville zu veranstalten.  In einer schmaleren Version kicken insgesamt vier Mannschaften an einem Tag um den Belleville Cup 2025! Das Fussballturnier war wie jedes Jahr ein tolles Event, um Nachbarschaft und Jugend zusammenzubringen. Wir danken unseren emsigen Organisator*innen Baba und Moctar. 

Spendenaktion 1: Am 25.2.2025 Konnten unsere Sachspenden aus Krankenhausmaterialien .(4 Notfallatemgeräte, 2 Gerätesterilisationsmaschinen, 1 Krankenhausbett, 1 Sauerstoffflasche, ca. 200 Verbandsmaterialien) in einer Zeremonie im Rathaus dem Viertel und dem ansässigen Krankenhaus übergeben werden. Durch die großzügige Spende des Arztes in Ruhestand Dr. Joe Aman aus Berlin konnte die Ausrüstung des Krankenhauses unterstützt werden. Spendenaktion 2 : wie im letzten Jahr gemeinsam mit dem Partnerverein überlegt, war unser Ziel in der diesjährigen Spendenaktion die Wasserversorgung für den Stadtteil Kiri, in dem auch das Grundstück für das deutsche burkinische Kulturzentrum liegt. Wir legten alle unsere Spendenvermögen zusammen und nach einiger Beratung und Konsultation der Autoritäten sowie unsere Kontakte nach Kiri, war es möglich, vor Ort eine Wasserbohrung durch eine Ingenieurfirma zu machen. Alle Schläuche sind nun gelegt – doch es fehlen noch einiges Budget und Materialien, um den Zugang zu dieser Quelle auch für die Bevölkerung verfügbar zu machen. Die Wasserversorgung wird maßgeblich zur infrastrukturellen Entwicklung des Stadtteils und der Lebensqualität der Bevölkerung beitragen. Kiri ist ein relativ neuer Stadtteil des Bezirkes No.7, der stetig wächst und neu bebaut wird. 

2024

Renovierung der Krankenstation Belleville

Wie bereits im Spendenaufruf im Vorhinein beschrieben, wollten wir in Deutschland für die Renovierung ( Dacherneuerung, Anstrich der Gebäude, Fliesen legen in der Geburtsstation) der Krankenstation (SPSS) im Viertel Belleville in Bobo Dioulasso sammeln. Die Bevölkerung in Bobo Dioulasso und vor allem in Belleville wächst ständig und hat sich in den letzten 2 Jahren verdreifacht und so kommen immer mehr Menschen, um diese Krankenstation zu nutzen obwohl die Ausstattung nicht angepasst wurde. Ebenfalls konnten wir großzügige Medikamenten- und Verbandsmaterialspenden aus Deutschland übergeben. Am Tag der Spendenübergabe und Arbeitsbeginn der Bauarbeiten kamen der Bezirksbürgermeister des Arrondissement Nr 7, der traditionelle Chef des Viertels Belleville und der Geschäftsführer und Chefarzt der Krankenstation zusammen. Gemeinsam mit einer Frauengruppe von Anwohnerinnen, den ausführenden Handwerkern und Mitglieder des Woka-Kuma Deutschland und Burkina Faso Verein konnten in einer feierlichen Zeremonie die Arbeiten begonnen und einige Dankesworte zu dem Engagement der Vereine, aber auch der Bevölkerung gesprochen werden. Wir trafen z.B. eine hochschwangere Frau, die sich bedankte dafür, dass sie nun unter besseren Bedingungen gebären würde. Einige Wochen später bekamen wir die Nachricht, dass sie nun glückliche Mutter eines Jungen geworden war.

Insgesamt konnten wir 4400 Euro an Spendengeldern sammeln und in die Aktionen vor Ort investieren.

Auch im Nachhinein ergab sich durch unser Engagement ein weiterer Bedarf. Um die Bedingungen zu verbessern, wird auch im Sprechstundenzimmer ein gefliester Boden benötigt. Diese Lücke konnte zum Glück bereits durch eine Privatperson und einer großzügigen Spende von 200 Euro geschlossen werden.

Auch erreichte uns nach unserer Reise eine weitere gute Nachricht: Eine Gruppe von Schüler*innen von der Sekundarschule Campus Rütli, bei der wir im Rahmen des Woka-Kuma Festivals und einem Chance Tanz Projekt in den letzten Herbstferien einen Tanzworkshop zum Thema der Tradition der Masken durchführen konnten, haben einen Artikel über die Projektwoche in ihrer Schülerzeitung veröffentlicht und sich dafür entschieden, die Einnahmen der Schülerzeitung an unseren Verein zu spenden. Insgesamt sind 95 euro zusammengekommen, wir freuen uns sehr über dieses Engagement!

2023

In den letzten beiden Jahren hat der Verein ein enges Verhältnis mit den Bürgern und Bürgerinnen des Ortes Kiri im Umland von der Stadt Bobo Dioulasso aufgebaut. Kiri hatte vor 3 Jahren eine Krankenstation, die kaum noch einsatzfähig war. Durch die letzten Spendenaktionen wurden deswegen die Hauptgebäude (Krankenstation, Geburtsstation und Sanitärbereich) renoviert (vgl. Spendenaktionsbericht 2021 und 2022). Durch die Dachausbesserung, Neuanstrich und die Ausstattung mit neuen Krankenbetten und Geburtsbetten können seitdem Patient*innen aus der Region viel besser versorgt werden.

Im engen Kontakt zu dem Bürgermeister von Kiri und dem lokalen Verein wurde 2023 die nächste Stufe umgesetzt: Eine adäquate Eingrenzung der Krankenstation. Im letzten Jahr erklärten wir bereits, wie wichtig so eine Umgrenzung für die Gebäude und die Sicherung der Patient*innen vor Ort ist. Durch unsere regelmäßigen Delegationsbesuche konnten wir im Kontakt bleiben mit den Menschen vor Ort, vor allem dem ehemaligen Bürgermeister von Kiri, dem Leiter der Krankenstation und weiteren Engagierten u.a. des Vereines A.S.E, die ebenfalls Nachbarschaftsprojekte vor Ort macht.

Obwohl unsere Spendensumme 2023 nicht ausreichend für das gesamte Vorhaben war, konnte dadurch der Startschuss für eine Initiative gesetzt werden. Menschen vor Ort mobilisierten sich und machten aus dem Projekt eine Gemeinschaftsaktion! So haben viele Menschen aus Kiri mit angepackt. Dienstleistungen, Steine, Sand und Werkzeug wurden gemeinschaftlich gesammelt und nach einiger Zeit und Arbeit entstand die Mauer für das CSPSS von Kiri. Wir freuen uns sehr, Teil davon gewesen zu sein, und etwas mehr für das Dorf und die Dorfbewohner*innen beigetragen zu haben. Wir danken hiermit allen Unterstützer*innen in Deutschland und Burkina Faso, die das möglich gemacht haben!

Unsere Zusammenarbeit und Verbundenheit mit Kiri hört auch hierbei nicht auf, sondern trägt nun noch mehr Früchte! Unser Partnerverein „Association Woka Kuma“ in Burkina Faso hat ein Stück Land geschenkt bekommen, auf dem in Zukunft das Kulturzentrum Woka Kuma entstehen soll. Seit langer Zeit haben wir die Idee, in der Vereinsarbeit basierend auf unseren Grundsätzen den Kulturaustausch stärker in der Vordergrund zu stellen und dafür eine eigene Heimat aufzubauen. Es entsteht ein Zentrum, in dem Workshops, Unterricht, Aufführungen und Austausch stattfinden – ein Ort für Kulturschaffende und Bewohner*innen von Kiri und Bobo-Dioulasso. Im Februar 2023 fand die Grundsteinlegung statt und wir wurden von der Ortsgemeinschaft herzlich als neue Bewohner*innen begrüßt!

Des Weiteren fand die nächste Ausgabe des Belleville Cups 2023 in Bobo Dioulasso statt. Insgesamt 8 Mannschaften aus Bobo und sogar der weiteren Umgebung spielten an zwei Tagen um den Pokal. Die nachbarschaftliche Stimmung war prima und die Spieler*innen hoch begeistert.

 

2022

Sachspende ans Krankenhaus Bobo Dioulasso: Am Mittwoch den 2.3.2022 gab es eine weitere Spendenaktion in Bobo Dioulasso: Mit freundlicher Unterstützung von Hr. Dr. Fröhlich aus Kassel konnten dem Krankenhaus Sorou Sanou im Arrondissement No 1von Bobo Dioulasso Sachspenden übergeben werden, insgesamt ein Gerät zur Tiefenwärme und ein Ultraschallgerät.

Beide Geräte werden dringend benötigt in den Krankenhaus, der Chefarzt sowie die stellvertretende Bürgermeisterin des Bezirks No 1 war selber anwesend zur Übergabe und freute sich sehr über die Unterstützung.

Fussballturnier in Bobo

Am Wochenende des 28.2.-29.2.2022 wurde in Bobo Dioulasso, Stadtteil Belleville die 2. Edition des BELLEVILLE CUP Fussballturnier veranstaltet! Der Woka Kuma Deutschland Verein und „Les amis allemands“ konnten die Veranstaltung mit Sachspenden aus Deutschland und finanziell unterstützen. Es traten insgesamt 8 Mannschaften an, am 2. Tag gab es das grosse Finale mit Animation und Konzert von Rama Ngoni auf dem Fußballplatz des Viertels. Wir gratulieren den Gewinnern aus dem Viertel Secteur 21 !

Auch die vielen anwesenden Kinder genossen die Action und das Zusammenkommen in der Nachbarschaft und brachten sich beim Jugendfussballspiel ein.

Die Gewinner Teams vom 4.-1. Wurden mit Preisen ausgezeichnet, die ersten beiden Mannschaften erhielten Pokale sowie Sport Schuhe für die besten Spieler.

Es war eine super Stimmung im Viertels und wurde von vielen Seiten begrüßt. Durch dieses jährliche Sportevent soll das nachbarschaftliche Miteinander und der sozialen Zusammenhalt im Viertel gestärkt werden. Wir danken beteiligten Personen aus dem Viertel, Baba, Moctar, Bara für die Organisation sowie allen großzügigen Spender*innen aus Deutschland, die diese Begegnung möglich gemacht haben!

Renovierung der Krankenstation Kiri 2022

Bereits letztes Jahr konnte der Verein Materialien wie Krankenbetten stiften, und dieses Jahr ging es um eine Renovierung und Ausstattung der Räumlichkeiten.

In dem CSPS waren die Räumlichkeiten schon länger renovierungswürdig, nun wurden neue Dachplatten und Fensterscheiben eingelegt, sowie ein Aussenanstrich aller Gebäude inkl. der Sanitär Anlagen ermöglicht.

Am 27.2. 2022 gab es eine offizielle Zeremonie in Anwesenheit von Vertretern des Ortsteils Kiri, der Krankenstation CSPS, des burkinischen Partnerverein Woka Kuma Burkina Faso und der Delegation Woka Kuma Deutschland e.V. konnten die fertig gestellten Räumlichkeiten besichtigt werden. Im Namen der Bevölkerung wurde allen Beteiligten gedankt. Besonders in diesem Jahr nach der langen Zeit in einer globalen Pandemie war es dem Verein wichtig, Engagement in der Gesundheitsversorgung hervor zu heben.

Wir danken allen Menschen die mit ihrem Beitrag und ihrer Unterstützung dieses Projekt möglich gemacht haben.

Spendenaktion 2021 l

Dank vieler Unterstützer*innen aus Deutschland und Burkina Faso konnten wir unsere erste Spendenaktion in Burkina Faso, Bobo Dioulasso durchführen. Am 15.Mai kam es zu einer erfolgreichen Übrgabe von medizinischer Ausrüstung für eine Gesundheitsstation in Nasso, Region Bobo Dioulasso.

Woka-Kuma Association: Gesundheitsausrüstung für die CSPS von Nasso
Am Samstag, den 15. Mai 2021, spendete der Verein Woka-Kuma dem Zentrum für Gesundheits- und Sozialförderung (CSPS) von Nasso Gesundheitsgeräte. Die Zeremonie fand in der CSPS statt.
Fünf (05) Krankenhausbetten, 01 Konsultationstisch und Kisten mit Medikamenten. So setzt sich die Spende zusammen, die der Verein Woka-Kuma dem CSPS von Nasso angeboten hat. Die Gesamtkosten für das Material belaufen sich auf 600.000 Franken. Ermöglicht wurde die Geste durch die Unterstützung deutscher Partner. In diesem Zusammenhang hat der Verein auch das große Krankenzimmer renoviert, indem das Dach, die Terrasse und der Anstrich erneuert wurden. Laut Mahamadi Sinka, Präsident des Vereins Woka-Kuma Burkina Faso, „ist dies eine Initiative, die vom Verein Woka-Kuma Berlin in Deutschland ausgeht. Seit fast sieben Jahren arbeiten der Verein Woka-Kuma Berlin und der Verein Burkina zusammen. Es begleitet verschiedene Aktivitäten, die wir in Bobo-Dioulasso durchführen, wie z.B. Feste, Patenschaften für Kinder. Darüber hinaus organisieren wir jedes Jahr Zeremonien zur Übergabe von Gesundheits- und Schulmaterialien an die CSPS und Schulen im 7. Bezirk von Bobo-Dioulasso. Für Sékou Ouédraogo, der den Bürgermeister des Bezirks 7 vertritt, „ist der Verein Woka-Kuma willkommen. Im Namen des Bezirksbürgermeisters danken wir ihnen, denn es ist ein starker Akt. Wir ermutigen sie, mehr zu tun. Die Begünstigten sagen, dass sie glücklich sind, weil diese Materialien die Bevölkerung von Nasso in Bezug auf die Gesundheit entlasten werden. Alexis Mihin, Bürgermeister der CSPS von Nasso und Vertreter der Begünstigten, ließ keine Worte aus, um diese Geste zu würdigen. „Es ist ein echter Bedarf, denn unsere Krankenhäuser brauchen oft medizinische Geräte. Wir erhalten diese Materialien mit großer Zufriedenheit. Wir hoffen, dass der Verein mehr Kraft hat, weitere Aktivitäten dieser Art zu initiieren. Es ist ein sozialer Akt, der den Menschen hilft“, schloss der Major der CSPS von Nasso. Der Verein Woka-Kuma wurde 2003 in Bobo-Dioulasso geboren. Es ist ein Verein, der die Förderung der kulturellen, künstlerischen und touristischen Industrie zum Ziel hat. Der Verein Woka-Kuma unterstützt die Bereiche Bildung, Gesundheit und Umweltschutz. Wir danken allen Spender*innen und Unterstützer*innen aus Deutschland und Burkina Faso die dies möglich gemacht haben!

Spendenaktion ll des Woka Kuma Deutschland e.V. nach Bobo Dioulasso im September 2021
Die Woka Kuma Association hat am 23. September 2021, eine Spende medizinischer Geräte an die CSPS von Kiri übergeben.
Es wurde eine Spende von medizinischem Material an das Centre de Santé et de Promotion Sociale (CSPS) von Kiri, Arrondissement N°2, Gemeinde Bobo-Dioulasso getätigt.
Leider ist es immer noch ein großes Thema in Burkina Faso, dass vor allem im ländlichen Räumen medizinische Zentren, und Krankenhäuser unterversorgt sind. Ärzt*innen und Patient*innen vor Ort können nun besser in ihren Bedürfnissen empfangen werden.

Diese Spende setzte sich zusammen aus:

1 Ablagetisch
1 Konsultationstisch und Medikamente.

Anwesend zur Übergabe waren der Vorsitzende des Woka Kuma Deutschland Vereines Abdoul Aziz Sinka, sowie Christoph Koch als Teil der deutschen Delegation, der Vorsitzende der Association Woka Kuma Burkina Faso Mahamadi Sinka, der Bürgermeister des Bezirkes No 2 von Bobo Dioulasso sowie der Direktor des Krankenhauses Kiri.

Spendenaktion lll 2021

Die Woka-Kuma-Vereine von Bobo-Dioulasso und Berlin (Deutschland) organisierten in Zusammenarbeit mit den Arrondissements 2 und 7 der Gemeinde Bobo Dioulasso von Donnerstag, den 23. bis Freitag, den 24. September 2021 im Salle des Fêtes des Arrondissements 7 einen Ausbildungsworkshop in Tierhaltung und Tieraufzucht für Jugendliche und junge Menschen

Thema: Jugend und nachhaltige Beschäftigung: Welchen Beitrag leisten die lokalen Partner?

Durch diese Fortbildung möchten wir jungen Menschen eine Perspektive vermitteln und Entrepreneurship der Region fördern.

Am letzten Tag wurden die Teilnehmenden mit einer Urkunde beehrt und einem Startequipment, so zB einem Huhn, Futter und Wasserspeicher ausgerüstet.

Aktion IV 2021

Ein weiteres sehr erfolgreiches Projekt welches 2021 in Bobo Dioulasso mit Hilfe des Woka-Kuma Deutschland e.V.s realisiert werden konnte ist der „Belleville-Cup“. Das Fussballturnier brachte jung und alt aus der Nachbarschaft des Viertels „Belleville“ zusammen, stärkte den Zusammenhalt und die Motivation der Teilnehmenden, und ist für den Verein ein wichtiges Element um direkt mit der Bevölkerung zu arbeiten.

2020

Unsere jährliche Spendenaktion zur Unterstützung unserer Partnerorganisation Association Woka Kuma Burkina Faso in Bobo Dioulasso werden wir auch in diesem Jahr durchführen. Die Association hat sich Ziele, wie die Förderung von Bildung und Gesundheitsversorgung auf die Fahnen geschrieben. Diesmal möchten wir noch einmal eine Geburtsstation in Bobo Dioulasso unterstützen und die Anschaffung wichtiger Materialien wie Geburtsbetten und weitere Ausstattung ermöglichen. Ähnlich wie bei der Spendenaktion 2019 geht es um einen Beitrag für das Krankenhaus in dem Ortsteil Kiri. Wichtige Materialien für die Geburtstation wurden erfolgreich übergeben.

2019

wurden  in Deutschland Spenden gesammelt um wichtige Materialien in eine Schule in dem Dorf Wolonkoto, der Region Bobo Dioulasso-Haut Bassin, zu bringen. Zusammen mit dem Bürgermeister des 7. Arrondissement der Stadt Bobo Dioulasso, Herman Sirima, wurden insgesamt 25 Schulbänke übergeben, sodass mehrere Klassenräume der Ecole primaire und Lycée ausgerüstet werden konnten. Auch dem Bürgermeister liegt die Bildung, besonders in den dörflichen Regionen am Herzen, vorher war es für die Schüler*innen oft schwierig dem Unterricht ohne einen festen Sitzplatz zu folgen.  Außerdem gelang es dem Woka Kuma Deutschland Verein Spenden zu sammeln um die Geburtsstation aus Wolonkoto mit solarbetriebene Lampen auszustatten, um die Räume für die Ärzt*innen und Patient*innen angenehmer zu gestalten. In der Geburtstation werden in  einer Woche bis zu 15 Babys geboren. Bis dahin gab es dort keine elektrische Lichtquelle, sodass es bei abendlichen oder nächtlichen Geburten oft  zu schwierigeren Verhältnissen kam.

2019

Die Geburtsstation des Dorfes Wolonkoto der Region Haut Bassin Bobo Dioulasso wurde mit neuen Geburtsbetten für schwangere und gebärende Frauen ausgestattet.  Auch ein weiteres SPSS in der Stadt, welches von der Association Woka Kuma in Zusammenarbeit mit der Mairie des 7. Arrondissements vorgeschlagen wurde, erhielt neue Geburtsbetten für die Geburtsstation.

Belleville Cup: after careful financial consideration, it was still possible to hold the annual soccer tournament in Belleville this year. In a smaller version, a total of four teams will compete for the Belleville Cup 2025 in one day! As every year, the soccer tournament was a great event to bring the neighborhood and young people together. We would like to thank our hard-working organizers Baba and Moctar.

Fundraiser: On February 25, 2025, our donations of hospital supplies (4 emergency respirators, 2 equipment sterilization machines, 1 hospital bed, 1 oxygen tank, approx. 200 bandages) were handed over to the neighborhood and the local hospital in a ceremony at the town hall. The generous donation from retired doctor Dr. Joe Aman from Berlin helped to support the hospital’s equipment. We and the people of Bobo-Dioulasso are very grateful. Fundraising campaign: as discussed last year with our partner association, our goal in this year’s fundraising campaign was to provide water for the Kiri district, where the German-Burkinabe cultural center is located. We pooled all our donations and, after some discussion and consultation

We pooled all our donations and, after some discussion and consultation with the authorities and our contacts in Kiri, it was possible to have an engineering company drill a well on site. All the pipes have now been laid, but there is still a shortfall in the budget and materials needed to make this source accessible to the population. The water supply will contribute significantly to the infrastructural development of the district and the quality of life of the population. Kiri is a relatively new district of District No. 7, which is constantly growing and being redeveloped.

 

2023
Over the past two years, the association has built up a close relationship with the citizens of the village of Kiri in the outskirts of the town of Bobo Dioulasso. Three years ago, Kiri had an infirmary that was barely operational. The main buildings (infirmary, maternity ward and sanitary facilities) were therefore renovated through the last donation campaigns (see donation campaign report 2021 and 2022). The roof has been repaired, repainted and equipped with new hospital beds and birthing beds, meaning that patients from the region can now receive much better care.
In close contact with the mayor of Kiri and the local association, the next stage was implemented in 2023: adequate confinement of the infirmary. Last year, we already explained how important such a perimeter is for the buildings and the safety of patients on site. Through our regular delegation visits, we were able to stay in contact with the local people, especially the former mayor of Kiri, the head of the infirmary and other committed people, including the A.S.E. association, which also carries out neighborhood projects on site.

Although our 2023 donation amount was not sufficient for the entire project, it enabled us to launch an initiative. Local people mobilized and turned the project into a community effort! Many people from Kiri lent a hand. Services, stones, sand and tools were collected together and after some time and work, the wall for the CSPSS of Kiri was built. We are very happy to have been part of it and to have contributed something more for the village and the villagers. We would like to thank all our supporters in Germany and Burkina Faso who made this possible!
Our cooperation and solidarity with Kiri does not stop here either, but is now bearing even more fruit! Our partner association „Association Woka Kuma“ in Burkina Faso has been given a piece of land on which the Woka Kuma cultural center is to be built in the future. For a long time, we have had the idea of placing more emphasis on cultural exchange in the association’s work based on our principles and building our own home for this. A center is being created where workshops, lessons, performances and exchanges will take place – a place for cultural workers and residents of Kiri and Bobo-Dioulasso. The foundation stone was laid in February 2023 and we were warmly welcomed as new residents by the local community!
Furthermore, the next edition of the Belleville Cup 2023 took place in Bobo Dioulasso. A total of 8 teams from Bobo and even further afield played for the trophy over two days. The neighborly atmosphere was great and the players were very enthusiastic.

Donation in kind to Bobo Dioulasso hospital
On Wednesday, March 2, 2022, there was another donation campaign in Bobo Dioulasso
With the kind support of Dr. Fröhlich from Kassel, donations in kind were handed over to the Sorou Sanou Hospital in Arrondissement No 1 of Bobo Dioulasso, a device for deep heat and an ultrasound device.
Both devices are urgently needed in the hospital. The head doctor and the deputy mayor of district No 1 were present for the handover and were delighted with the support.

Football tournament in Bobo
On the weekend of 28.2.-29.2.2022, the 2nd edition of the BELLEVILLE CUP football tournament was held in Bobo Dioulasso, Belleville district! The Woka Kuma Germany Association and „Les amis allemands“ were able to support the event financially and with donations in kind from Germany. A total of 8 teams competed and on the 2nd day there was the grand final with entertainment and a concert by Rama Ngoni on the neighborhood’s soccer pitch. Congratulations to the winners from the Secteur 21 district!
The many children present also enjoyed the action and coming together in the neighborhood and got involved in the youth football game.

The winning teams of the 4th-1st were awarded prizes, the first two teams received trophies and sports shoes for the best players.
It was a great atmosphere in the neighborhood and was welcomed by many sides. This annual sporting event is intended to strengthen neighborly cooperation and social cohesion in the neighborhood. We would like to thank the people involved from the neighbourhood, Baba, Moctar and Bara for organizing the event and all the generous donors from Germany who made it possible!

Renovation of the Kiri 2022 infirmary
Last year, the association was able to donate materials such as hospital beds, and this year the focus was on renovating and equipping the premises.
The rooms in the CSPS had been in need of renovation for some time, and now new roof panels and window panes have been installed and the exterior of all the buildings, including the sanitary facilities, has been painted.
On February 27, 2022, there was an official ceremony in the presence of representatives of the Kiri district, the CSPS infirmary, the Burkinabe partner association Woka Kuma Burkina Faso and the delegation of Woka Kuma Deutschland e.V. to view the completed premises. All those involved were thanked on behalf of the population. Especially this year, after the long period of a global pandemic, it was important for the association to emphasize commitment in health care.

Fundraising campaign 2021 l
Thanks to many supporters from Germany and Burkina Faso, we were able to carry out our first fundraising campaign in Burkina Faso, Bobo Dioulasso. On May 15, we successfully handed over medical equipment for a health station in Nasso, Bobo Dioulasso region.

Woka-Kuma Association: Health equipment for the CSPS of Nasso
On Saturday, May 15, 2021, the Woka-Kuma Association donated health equipment to the Center for Health and Social Promotion (CSPS) of Nasso. The ceremony took place at the CSPS.
Five (05) hospital beds, 01 consultation table and boxes of medicines. This is the donation offered by the Woka-Kuma Association to the CSPS of Nasso. The total cost of the material amounts to 600,000 Swiss francs. The gesture was made possible by the support of German partners. The Woka Kuma Association handed over a donation of medical equipment to the CSPS of Kiri on September 23, 2021.
A donation of medical equipment was made to the Center de Santé et de Promotion Sociale (CSPS) of Kiri, arrondissement N°2, commune of Bobo-Dioulasso.
Unfortunately, it is still a major issue in Burkina Faso that medical centers and hospitals are undersupplied, especially in rural areas. Local doctors and patients can now be better equipped to meet their needs.
This donation consisted of:
4 hospital beds
1 storage table
1 consultation table and medication.
Present at the handover were the Chairman of the Woka Kuma Germany Association Abdoul Aziz Sinka, as well as Christoph Koch as part of the German delegation, the Chairman of the Association Woka Kuma Burkina Faso Mahamadi Sinka, the Mayor of District No 2 of Bobo Dioulasso and the Director of Kiri Hospital.

Action IV 2021
Another very successful project that was realized in Bobo Dioulasso in 2021 with the help of Woka-Kuma Deutschland e.V. is the „Belleville Cup“. The football tournament brought together young and old from the neighborhood of the „Belleville“ district, strengthened the cohesion and motivation of the participants and is an important element for the association to work directly with the population.

2020
We will be holding our annual fundraising campaign to support our partner organization Association Woka Kuma Burkina Faso in Bobo Dioulasso again this year. The association has set itself goals such as promoting education and healthcare. This time, we would like to once again support a maternity ward in Bobo Dioulasso and enable the purchase of important materials such as birthing beds and other equipment. Similar to the 2019 fundraising campaign, the aim is to contribute to the hospital in the Kiri district. Important materials for the maternity ward were successfully handed over.

2019
donations were collected in Germany to bring important materials to a school in the village of Wolonkoto in the Bobo Dioulasso-Haut Bassin region. Together with the mayor of the 7th arrondissement of the city of Bobo Dioulasso, Herman Sirima, a total of 25 school desks were handed over so that several classrooms of the Ecole primaire and Lycée could be equipped. The mayor is also concerned about education, especially in the village regions, as it was previously often difficult for pupils to follow lessons without a fixed seat. The Woka Kuma Germany Association also managed to collect donations to equip the maternity ward in Wolonkoto with solar-powered lamps to make the rooms more pleasant for the doctors and patients. In the maternity ward, in one week Up to 15 babies are born in the maternity ward in a week. Until then, there was no electric light source, which meant that evening or night-time births were often difficult.
2019
The maternity ward in the village of Wolonkoto in the Haut Bassin Bobo Dioulasso region was equipped with new birthing beds for pregnant and birthing women. Collecte de dons 2025 – lors du voyage de la délégation en février, nous avons pu effectuer plusieurs visites (voir page FESTICO) et remettre des dons/mener des actions.

Belleville Cup : après une évaluation financière, il a tout de même été possible cette année d’organiser le tournoi de football annuel à Belleville. Dans une version réduite, quatre équipes au total s’affronteront en une journée pour remporter la Belleville Cup 2025 ! Comme chaque année, le tournoi de football a été un événement formidable qui a permis de rassembler le quartier et les jeunes. Nous remercions nos organisateurs Baba et Moctar pour leur travail acharné.

Collecte de dons : le 25 février 2025, nos dons en nature de matériel hospitalier (4 appareils respiratoires d’urgence, 2 stérilisateurs, 1 lit d’hôpital, 1 bouteille d’oxygène, environ 200 pansements) ont été remis au quartier et à l’hôpital local lors d’une cérémonie à la mairie. Le généreux don du Dr Joe Aman, médecin à la retraite de Berlin, a permis de soutenir l’équipement de l’hôpital. Nous et la population de Bobo-Dioulasso vous en remercions chaleureusement. Collecte de dons : comme l’année dernière, en collaboration avec l’association partenaire, notre objectif pour la collecte de dons de cette année était d’assurer l’approvisionnement en eau du quartier de Kiri, où se trouve également le terrain du centre culturel germano-burkinabé. Nous avons rassemblé tous nos dons et, après quelques discussions et consultations Nous avons mis en commun tous nos dons et, après quelques discussions et consultations avec les autorités et nos contacts à Kiri, nous avons pu faire forer un puits par une entreprise d’ingénierie locale. Tous les tuyaux sont désormais posés, mais il manque encore une partie du budget et des matériaux pour rendre cette source accessible à la population. L’approvisionnement en eau contribuera de manière significative au développement des infrastructures du quartier et à la qualité de vie de la population. Kiri est un quartier relativement nouveau du district n° 7, en constante expansion et en cours de reconstruction.

2023
Au cours des deux dernières années, l’association a établi une relation étroite avec les citoyens et citoyennes de la localité de Kiri, située dans les environs de la ville de Bobo Dioulasso. Il y a trois ans, Kiri disposait d’un dispensaire qui n’était plus guère opérationnel. Les dernières collectes de fonds ont donc permis de rénover les bâtiments principaux (infirmerie, maternité et sanitaires) (voir les rapports de collecte de fonds 2021 et 2022). Grâce à la réfection du toit, à la peinture et à l’équipement de nouveaux lits d’hôpital et de maternité, les patients de la région peuvent désormais être mieux soignés.
En contact étroit avec le maire de Kiri et l’association locale, l’étape suivante a été mise en œuvre en 2023 : un confinement adéquat du dispensaire. L’année dernière, nous avions déjà expliqué l’importance d’un tel périmètre pour les bâtiments et la sécurité des patients sur place. Grâce aux visites régulières de nos délégations, nous avons pu rester en contact avec les habitants, notamment l’ancien maire de Kiri, le directeur du dispensaire et d’autres personnes engagées, dont l’association A.S.E., qui mène également des projets de proximité sur place.

Bien que notre donation 2023 n’ait pas été suffisante pour couvrir l’ensemble du projet, elle a permis de donner le coup d’envoi d’une initiative. Les gens sur place se sont mobilisés et ont fait de ce projet une action collective ! Ainsi, de nombreuses personnes de Kiri ont mis la main à la pâte. Des services, des pierres, du sable et des outils ont été collectés collectivement et, après un certain temps et un certain travail, le mur du CSPSS de Kiri a vu le jour. Nous sommes très heureux d’avoir participé à ce projet et d’avoir apporté une contribution supplémentaire au village et à ses habitants. Nous remercions ici tous les soutiens en Allemagne et au Burkina Faso qui ont rendu cela possible !
Notre collaboration et notre attachement à Kiri ne s’arrêtent pas là, mais portent désormais encore plus de fruits ! Notre association partenaire „Association Woka Kuma“ au Burkina Faso a reçu en cadeau un terrain sur lequel le centre culturel Woka Kuma doit être construit à l’avenir. Depuis longtemps, nous avons l’idée de mettre davantage l’accent sur l’échange culturel dans le travail de l’association, en nous basant sur nos principes, et de construire pour cela un lieu propre. Un centre sera créé, dans lequel auront lieu des ateliers, des cours, des représentations et des échanges – un lieu pour les acteurs culturels et les habitants de Kiri et de Bobo-Dioulasso. La première pierre a été posée en février 2023 et nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par la communauté locale en tant que nouveaux habitants* !
En outre, la prochaine édition du Belleville Cup 2023 a eu lieu à Bobo Dioulasso. Au total, 8 équipes de Bobo et même des environs se sont affrontées pendant deux jours pour remporter la coupe. L’ambiance de voisinage était excellente et les joueurs* très enthousiastes.

2022
Don en nature à l’hôpital de Bobo Dioulasso
Le mercredi 2 mars 2022, une nouvelle action de don a eu lieu à Bobo Dioulasso.
Avec l’aimable soutien du Dr. Fröhlich de Kassel, des dons en nature ont pu être remis à l’hôpital Sorou Sanou dans l’arrondissement No 1 de Bobo Dioulasso, au total un appareil de chauffage profond et un appareil à ultrasons.
Le médecin-chef ainsi que l’adjointe au maire de l’arrondissement No 1 étaient eux-mêmes présents lors de la remise et se sont réjouis de ce soutien.

Tournoi de football à Bobo
La deuxième édition du tournoi de football BELLEVILLE CUP a été organisée le week-end du 28-29 février 2022 à Bobo Dioulasso, quartier de Belleville ! L’association Woka Kuma Allemagne et „Les amis allemands“ ont pu soutenir l’événement avec des dons en nature d’Allemagne et financièrement. Au total, 8 équipes se sont affrontées et le deuxième jour a eu lieu la grande finale avec animation et concert de Rama Ngoni sur le terrain de football du quartier. Nous félicitons les gagnants du quartier Secteur 21 !
Les nombreux enfants présents ont également apprécié l’action et le rassemblement dans le quartier et se sont impliqués dans le match de football des jeunes.

 

Les équipes gagnantes du 4-1 ont été récompensées par des prix, les deux premières équipes ont reçu des coupes et des chaussures de sport pour les meilleurs joueurs.
L’ambiance dans le quartier était excellente et a été saluée par de nombreuses personnes. Cet événement sportif annuel vise à renforcer les relations de voisinage et la cohésion sociale dans le quartier. Nous remercions les personnes du quartier impliquées, Baba, Moctar, Bara pour l’organisation ainsi que tous les généreux donateurs* d’Allemagne qui ont rendu cette rencontre possible !

Rénovation du dispensaire Kiri 2022
L’année dernière déjà, l’association avait pu faire don de matériel comme des lits d’hôpital, et cette année, il s’agissait de rénover et d’équiper les locaux.
Au CSPS, les locaux avaient besoin d’être rénovés depuis un certain temps déjà, de nouvelles plaques de toit et de nouvelles vitres ont été posées, et une peinture extérieure de tous les bâtiments, y compris les installations sanitaires, a été rendue possible.
Le 27 février 2022, une cérémonie officielle a eu lieu en présence de représentants du quartier de Kiri, du dispensaire CSPS, de l’association partenaire burkinabé Woka Kuma Burkina Faso et de la délégation de Woka Kuma Deutschland e.V., qui ont pu visiter les locaux achevés. Au nom de la population, tous les participants ont été remerciés. En particulier cette année, après une longue période de pandémie mondiale, il était important pour l’association de souligner l’engagement dans les soins de santé.
Nous remercions toutes les personnes qui ont rendu ce projet possible grâce à leur contribution et leur soutien.

Campagne de dons 2021 l
Grâce à de nombreux soutiens* d’Allemagne et du Burkina Faso, nous avons pu mener notre première campagne de dons au Burkina Faso, à Bobo Dioulasso. Le 15 mai, un équipement médical a été remis avec succès à un centre de santé à Nasso, dans la région de Bobo Dioulasso.

Association Woka-Kuma : équipement sanitaire pour le CSPS de Nasso
Le samedi 15 mai 2021, l’association Woka-Kuma a fait un don d’équipements de santé au Centre de promotion sanitaire et sociale (CSPS) de Nasso. La cérémonie a eu lieu au CSPS.
Cinq (05) lits d’hospitalisation, 01 table de consultation et des caisses de médicaments. C’est ainsi que se compose le don que l’association Woka-Kuma a offert au CSPS de Nasso. Le coût total du matériel s’élève à 600.000 francs. Ce geste a été rendu possible grâce au soutien de partenaires allemands. Dans ce contexte, l’association a également rénové la grande infirmerie en refaisant le toit, la terrasse et la peinture. Selon Mahamadi Sinka, président de l’association Woka-Kuma Burkina Faso, „c’est une initiative qui émane de l’association Woka-Kuma Berlin en Allemagne. Depuis près de sept ans, l’association Woka-Kuma Berlin et l’association Burkina travaillent ensemble. Elle accompagne différentes activités que nous menons à Bobo-Dioulasso, comme par exemple des fêtes, des parrainages d’enfants. En outre, nous organisons chaque année des cérémonies pour le passage de témoin. De plus, nous organisons chaque année des cérémonies de remise de matériel sanitaire et scolaire aux CSPS et écoles du 7ème arrondissement de Bobo-Dioulasso. Pour Sékou Ouédraogo, représentant le maire de l’arrondissement 7, „l’association Woka-Kuma est la bienvenue. Au nom du maire d’arrondissement, nous les remercions parce que c’est un acte fort. Nous les encourageons à en faire plus. Les bénéficiaires disent qu’ils sont heureux parce que ces matériels vont soulager la population de Nasso en termes de santé. Alexis Mihin, maire du CSPS de Nasso et représentant des bénéficiaires, n’a pas manqué de mots pour saluer ce geste. „C’est un réel besoin, car nos hôpitaux ont souvent besoin de matériel médical. C’est avec une grande satisfaction que nous recevons ces matériels. Nous espérons que l’association aura plus de force pour initier d’autres activités de ce type. C’est un acte social qui aide les populations“, a conclu le major du CSPS de Nasso. L’association Woka-Kuma est née en 2003 à Bobo-Dioulasso. C’est une association qui a pour but de promouvoir les industries culturelles, artistiques et touristiques. Action de don ll de Woka Kuma Deutschland e.V. à Bobo Dioulasso en septembre 2021
L’association Woka Kuma a remis le 23 septembre 2021, un don de matériel médical au CSPS de Kiri.
Un don de matériel médical a été fait au Centre de Santé et de Promotion Sociale (CSPS) de Kiri, arrondissement N°2, commune de Bobo-Dioulasso.
Malheureusement, le manque de centres médicaux et d’hôpitaux, surtout dans les zones rurales, est toujours un problème majeur au Burkina Faso. Les médecins et les patients locaux peuvent désormais être mieux accueillis dans leurs besoins.

Campagne de dons lll 2021
Les associations Woka Kuma de Bobo-Dioulasso et de Berlin (Allemagne), en collaboration avec les arrondissements 2 et 7 de la commune de Bobo Dioulasso, organisent du jeudi 23 au vendredi 24 septembre 2021 à la Salle des Fêtes de l’arrondissement 7, un atelier de formation en élevage pour les jeunes et les femmes de Bobo-Dioulasso.
Thème : les jeunes et l’emploi durable : Quelle est la contribution des partenaires locaux ?
Par le biais de cette formation, nous souhaitons offrir des perspectives aux jeunes et promouvoir l’entrepreneuriat de la région.
Le dernier jour, les participants ont reçu un certificat et un équipement de démarrage, par exemple une poule, de la nourriture et un réservoir d’eau.
Action IV 2021
Un autre projet très réussi qui a pu être réalisé en 2021 à Bobo Dioulasso avec l’aide de Woka-Kuma Deutschland e.V. est la „Belleville-Cup“. Le tournoi de football a réuni jeunes et moins jeunes du quartier de „Belleville“, a renforcé la cohésion et la motivation des participants et constitue pour l’association un élément important pour travailler directement avec la population.

2020
Cette année encore, nous organiserons notre campagne annuelle de dons pour soutenir notre organisation partenaire Association Woka Kuma Burkina Faso à Bobo Dioulasso. L’Association s’est fixé des objectifs tels que la promotion de l’éducation et des soins de santé. Cette fois-ci, nous souhaitons à nouveau soutenir une maternité à Bobo Dioulasso et permettre l’achat de matériel important comme des lits d’accouchement et d’autres équipements. Comme pour la campagne de dons 2019, il s’agit d’une contribution pour l’hôpital du quartier de Kiri. Du matériel important pour la maternité a été remis avec succès.

2019
des dons ont été collectés en Allemagne pour apporter du matériel important dans une école du village de Wolonkoto, dans la région de Bobo Dioulasso-Haut Bassin. Jusqu’alors, il n’y avait pas de source de lumière électrique, ce qui rendait souvent les conditions d’accouchement le soir ou la nuit plus difficiles.

2019
La maternité du village de Wolonkoto de la région du Haut Bassin Bobo Dioulasso a été équipée de nouveaux lits d’accouchement pour les femmes enceintes et celles qui accouchent. Un autre SPSS de la ville, proposé par l’Association Woka Kuma en collaboration avec la Mairie du 7e arrondissement, a également reçu de nouveaux lits d’accouchement pour sa maternité.
