The project “Dance of Diversity – Strong Together Through Music and Movement” aims to promote awareness of international understanding, democracy, tolerance, cohesion, and valuable exchange between different cultures through dance workshops. At a time when social challenges such as discrimination, anti-democratic tendencies, and social division are ever-present, we want to use intercultural dance programs to strengthen dialogue and mutual understanding between people and children from a wide variety of backgrounds and walks of life.
Within the framework of “Dance of Diversity,” both children and young people should have the opportunity to engage with the topics of democracy and tolerance in a creative and practical way. We use the universal language of dance to bring together different cultural perspectives and make them tangible. Our workshop leaders represent perspectives from the African continent and Germany.
Dance offers a unique opportunity to overcome boundaries, deepen mutual understanding, and develop a shared vision of cooperation and respectful coexistence.
