Maï Lingani

Maï Lingani est une chanteuse, auteur-compositeur et danseuse burkinabé. Elle est la présidente de l’ABFAM : Association burkinabé des femmes artistes musiciennes.

Née au Burkina Faso, elle a grandi en Côte d’Ivoire où elle se forme à la scène à l’Institut National des Arts et des Actions Culturelles (INSAAC) d’Abidjan. De retour au Burkina Faso, elle entame rapidement une carrière internationale.
En 2000, elle enregistre son 1er album solo «Entrons dans la danse». Cet album, chanté en moré, dioula, bissa et français rencontre un vif succès
En 2004, elle crée le groupe Burkina Electric avec Lukas Ligeti batteur et compositeur autrichien installé à New-York et Kurt Dahlke alias Pyrolator, actif sur la scène électro allemande depuis le début des années 80.

Depuis 2014 Mai Lingani a tourné en Europe et en Afrique au Burkina où elle réalise des prestations scénique dans les Instituts Français, au Festival panafricain de Film le FESPACO en collaboration avec la grande chorégraphe et danseuse Irene Tassembedo et avec sa formation le Tangare band.

Kanazoé Orkestra

This is the story of a traveling griot who, during his exile, takes the sound from tradition to magnify it through encounters. Born and raised in Burkina Faso, Seydou Diabaté, also known as, Kanazoé, and his balafon come together as one and his instrument becomes the voice of his stories. Exalted by his six musicians, he shines with his smile and generosity and his sticks become invisible they bounce so fast. Kanazoé and his bandmates give us a powerful and moving music to dance to. With this second album, Kanazoé Orkestra asserts itself as one of the pillars of West African music.
Alongside virtuoso Seydou “Kanazoé” Diabaté, the band offers us a current and urban vision of the ancestral balafon rhythms.

This double meaning reflects both the festive and dancing spirit of Kanazoe Orkestra’s music and the desire to claim ever more its African identity through the Sambla, Mandingo or Bambara sonority and the committed texts appealing to the union and independence of peoples.

Katouma Danse

Katouma Danse

Noumoutie Reggae Ouattara, né au village de Logofourousso, Burkina Faso, en 1971, est un chorégraphe renommé qui depuis 12 ans travaille entre l’Italie et le Burkina pour valoriser et faire connaître sa culture.

Raciné dans la culture Bobo, en 2008 Noumoutié a fondé une association qui s’appelle Katouma, élevez-vous en langue Bobo, qui a siège à Turin, en Italie et à Bobo-Dioulasso, dans l’Espace Rencontre Culturel de Belleville, à Bobo.

Katouma danse est aussi le nom de sa compagnie de danse traditionnelle qui réside à Bobo-Dioulasso et qui a participé dans les derniers deux ans à plusieurs festivals internationaux.
